Mark Balkman
For 26 years Mark Balkman was employed by Aid Association for Lutherans (AAL) of Appleton Wisconsin. Eighteen of those years Mark helped AAL learn more about the 10 million member Lutheran market, using both quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques. Mark also directed/managed a group of research professionals during the later stages of his career at AAL. Mark also served nine years on the board of directors for the AAL Employee Credit Union, three years as its chairman.
In 2000 Mark formed BlueCap Marketing Research, and for the past five years has consulted with a number of clients on a variety of research related assignments. He has helped clients learn more about their market needs, customer attachment and also helped identify market opportunities. He has continued to provide his expertise through execution and analysis of quantitative surveys, conducting focus groups and personal interviews. He currently serves a broad base of for-profit, as well as not-for-profit clients in several industries. For the past eight years Mark has also taught basic courses in mathematics and statistics for Concordia University Wisconsin. |
